Biryani is a rich and flavourful dish of rice layered with fragrant saffron and lamb or chicken which I love to make when I have a large crowd to feed. I can also teach you how to make a vegetarian/vegan version that is equally delicious. Every Indian family has it's own recipe and mine has been passed down from my maternal grandmother . Biryani takes time to prepare but the results are worthy of the effort. We will also make some raita (flavoured yoghurt) to serve alongside the biryani.
A great all in one dish, that can be made the day before and reheated for your family or guests.
