Indian Home Cooking

Each lesson lasts approximately 2-3 hours  and I'll watch you every step of the way to help you create your very own Indian feast! Select your dish for an individual lesson  or get like minded, Indian food loving friends or family together for a fun group lesson. Alongside the lamb and chicken curries, I will also teach you how to make  a dahl, roti or rice. The accompaniment for dhansak will be caramelised rice and for the biryani, I will teach you how to make raita.

A one-to-one lesson makes a perfect gift, and I will post a gift certificate and authentic filled spice tin to the recipient.

All the options below are available for you to reserve, but feel free to contact me to discuss alternate ideas too – If I know how to make it, I will teach it!

Kirna's cooking lessons are really fun and interactive. They've been a great way to learn authentic Indian recipes at home, with input from an expert. It's really useful to see what she's cooking at the same time, and to get real-time advice; much better than simply following a recipe!

I recently participated in Kirna’s chicken curry making lesson. Kirna’s recipe was easy to follow and her instructions were clear both before and during the class. Her style is very gentle and encouraging. Plus, the curry was absolutely amazing; I cannot wait for the Dhansak class... Highly recommended!

A great afternoon learning to make Lamb Dhansak with Kirna @ Kirna's Kitchen. The recipe was easy to follow with clear explanations and helpful hints along the way from Kirna. A delicious lamb curry ready in 2hrs. It was very relaxed and such a great experience! I would thoroughly recommend doing a class!

What a wonderful lockdown experience! Learned to cook two Authentic Indian dishes over two lessons. As a complete novice I was skeptical about being able to produce anything vaguely resembling the recipe - I was wrong! ... Highlight for me was Kirna's Biryani and making fresh Roti! Couldn't recommend enough!
